The brand was founded by business and law graduate Natel Allen, she came up with the idea to create her own nail polish brand after searching long and hard for a nude nail polish shade that would fit her skin tone.
In 2019, Telle Moi launched with four nude shades, currently, the brand offers more than 40 shades including gel polishes, nail care products and gift sets.
The name Telle Moi is inspired by the French 'tel moi' which literally means 'Like Me.' Natel decided on the name Telle Moi as she wants all her shades to be suitable for everyone who wants to wear them.
Natel discovered that there was a huge gap in the market in 2018 when she was searching for the perfect nude shade for a new job. However, after searching for some time, she found nothing and decided to make her own shade. Lots of research, self-education and experimentation and in 2019, the brand launched. Natel has not looked back since.
“I’d always relied heavily on purchasing nail polish from mainstream stores and I was completely oblivious to the indie nail polish community at the time. I remember coming home irritated so I began some research into the making of nail polish."
Natel worked tirelessly to find genuine suppliers and to find the right components to perfect her products.
